In 2012, the Coventry and Warwickshire Society of Artists celebrated the Society’s one-hundredth anniversary at the Herbert Art Gallery in Coventry.  This year they have again secured a very prestigious Gallery space for their annual exhibition.  Gallery 150 is situated in the heart of Leamington Spa and holds superb exhibitions by local and national Artists throughout the year. 

The Mayor of Leamington Spa, Judith Clarke, has agreed to open the Exhibition and invitations have been issued for the launch/private view which will be held on Tuesday 13th May from 7pm to 9pm.  The Richard Gill memorial trophy, the Ralph Brassett trophy, the themed piece award and the new President’s award will be presented on the night and drinks and nibbles will be available. 

Admission to the exhibition is free and plenty of parking is available in the centre of Leamington.  This Exhibition continues the excitement of of the Society’s Centenary Year and they have many exciting projects and events planned for 2014. 
 
Membership of the society is open to anyone interested in the visual arts – members enjoy a programme of varied activities and social events throughout the year together with the opportunity to submit their works for exhibition.
