New CWSA Chair Required

New CHAIR - invitation to apply
As you know we are currently looking for a new Chair to lead the Society into our participation in the City of Culture 2021 celebrations and beyond. Edith has stepped down after five years of unstinting hard work on our behalf and will be very much missed. However, we now invite one of you to take her place. The coming years will be an exciting time for the Society and one of you will be able to be fully in charge!
The Committee meet each month and the Chair simply leads the agenda. The Secretary writes up the minutes etc. and the rest of us all have specific jobs. The
committee members are very supportive and you would have help from all sides, including Edith for the first few meetings. All we need is your willingness to participate and your thoughts on what you would like the Society to become in the coming years.
