Painting without a brush - Fiona Payne

A rather different workshop with Fiona Payne will take place on Tuesday 25th November from 10.15am – 12.45pm at Stoneleigh Village Hall.  Fiona describes her work ‘My inspiration begins with architecture combined with a fascination for line, shape and space. I am inspired by the emptiness of dereliction, vacancy and ruin.
The key is prioritising the negative space that can be seen through and around the frame of the structure. My paintings take the form of the abstracted shape, and intensified colour, created by various techniques, rarely using a paintbrush. The use of vibrant colours evokes emotion and expresses the power of the construction’.  Contact Julia Yarrow to book your place
