Some MORE exciting and fun things to do this autumn. I am also organising two low-cost workshop mornings for members in my Fillongley Studio. (see below).
With the Herbert Art Exhibition coming up in February, an opportunity to showcase your work in a wonderful gallery.
As we have Gallery One, (at the top of the stairs above Dippy the Dinosaur), there is more space for very large paintings. Plus there is space for sculptures and 3D work. I also have the contact details for any artist who may want to sell things in the VEND machine (size up to 6"x6"), or in the Herbert Shop.

1) DAVID JOHNSON - DJ ART.
All day workshop - OIL PAINTING - LANDSCAPES
SATURDAY 28th October, Stoneleigh Village Hall.
 We still have places on this workshop day. This should be really good to get some work done and be inspired.
Cost: £20. for the day. (£25. non-members). Bring your own lunch. Refreshments will be provided.

2) PORTRAIT WORKSHOP 10 am - 1 pm
SATURDAY 4th November. Fillongley Studio.
 For beginners, Susan Moore will take artists through various techniques to help with drawing and painting a portrait from life and also from photographs.
£6. Members. £15. Non members.

NEW - POPUP ART EXHIBITION for charity HOLIDAY INN, KENILWORTH
WEEKEND 11th - 12th NOVEMBER.
6ft table - to display yourself. £10 per day.
This will be in a room opposite the reception area, suitable for up to 8 artists to take part.
Start time: 8.30 am to set up. End of day approx 5pm, depending how busy it is.
4 places left. 10% of sales to Myton Hospice.
Also - gifts required for tombola so we can raise money for Myton Hospice

SILK PAINTING - Fillongley Studio
Saturday 18th November. 10 am - 1 pm.
This is a 'fun' morning. You can either design your own silk painting (approx A4) suitable for framing, or design and paint (2) mounted cards.
£8. Members to include all materials
£25. Non members.
Places limited to 7 artists.

4) EARLSDON WORKSHOPS - FORTNIGHTLY - TUESDAY.
We need 10 members/artists to pre-book to cover room hire.
So far, 3 artists have said they would like this to continue. The cost would be £30. per member for 10 sessions.  (£50. per non member.)

Also, you may be able to sell items in the Herbert Shop
A space/room in the gallery to put on your own demonstrations and workshops during the exhibition.
