Karen Carey
Karen is a mixed media artist who graduated from Coventry University with BA Hons in fine art. She went onto teach and lecture a wide range of students in art & Design for over 25 years and is now enjoying developing her art practice further in retirement. Her work takes many forms, including ceramics and glass, painting, textiles and mixed media taking inspiration from the natural world and evoking a sense of time and place. She explores colour and texture to create a personal journey through the local countryside to reflect a love of the seasonal variety and environmental changes.
