Giuseppe Pittarello
Since my early life I have been interested and fascinated by art. As a young teenager in the 60s I had to leave my beloved Veneto - steeped in history and beauty - to find work, and was unable to dedicate any time to my passion.
Although I had no formal training earlier on in my life, I have been making up for lost time and attending numerous courses and lectures to enable a deepened understanding of new techniques and to hone my skills.
I started to take art courses at the University of Warwick and Warwickshire College, and have been inspired by excellent tuition from tutors in both establishments. I have been painting for over a decade and been enjoying my retirement creating new designs and paintings, witch very much represent the chapter and accompanying emotions in my life. My sources of inspiration generally come from abstract and surreal artwork, predominantly executed in acrylic.
